Hanging Lake

Barry and I put the twins in their back packs and went up Glenwood Canyon where we lived in Glenwood Springs, CO. The canyon alone is a gorgeous ride and we stopped just off I-70 and hiked up to Hanging Lake.

Here is a look at part of the falls at the top. By the time we reached the top it was overcast so I don't have a beautiful blue sky as a backdrop.

The hike up was fairly steep and we sure got a work out with the additional 25 pounds on our backs but it was an amazing place to see.

The water was so clear and colorful. There were wooden planks to walk on over the "lake." The water was freezing and signs posted not to enter the water.

Again, a breathtaking view.

One day I will go back on a clear day and snap a few more!
